So many people have undergone medical tests that come back clear and so many take various medications to try and help manage the problem yet the IBS symptoms continue. 


This is so frustrating and can really impact on you living life to the full. Especially when you are experiencing pain, bloating, or have difficulty leaving the house or you’re always looking for the toilet. This may sound familiar to you and it can really effect your family and working life.


Perhaps you are an IBS sufferer or experience digestive symptoms that may be linked to IBS like these:

  • Intermittent bowel movements or urgency

So let me ask you a question:


Have you tried over the counter medication or medication from your doctor without relief?


The chances are it hasn’t worked nearly as well as you hoped. So why is that?


The digestive system is really complex so one size does not fit all. Yet doctors are very limited in what they have to offer.


Take Lynn, a lovely bubbly “mid-lifer” lady held back from enjoying her life to the full because of severe abdominal bloating and stabbing abdominal pains, diarrhea and acid reflux – which she had been suffering from for 20 years. Lynn had tried stomach acid suppressant medications but this did not lesson her symptoms in any way. In fact she felt it made them worse.


A better way to approach the problem(s) is to look at each section of the digestive system and find out what may be out of balance. When there is an imbalance it can cause the symptoms I’ve talked about above. But when everything is in balance the symptoms tend to disappear. Does that make sense?


For poor Lynn no-one had taken a detailed case history and really listened to her concerns. No-one had considered the complexity of the digestive tract and considered where her problems may have started; such as in the stomach, small intestines or large intestines.


By understanding Lynn’s problems, Lynn was provided with digestive support to help adjust the imbalances in her digestive system.


By providing supplements or nutritional guidance to help rebalance the digestive system the body is able to properly breakdown food. By providing the right type of gut support it can start to rebalance the good bacteria that are necessary to support digestion and healthy bowel movements.
